Smoke filled the Waggon and Horses pub at Oxenhope after a blaze broke out in the kitchen.

Two appliances from Keighley fire station attended the incident at 5pm yesterday and managed to contain the fire to one room. Keighley fire service crew manager Jonathan Earl said no one was injured and the cause of the blaze was being investigated.

He said: "The fire was in the electrical supply to the property in the kitchen.

"The whole building was smoke-logged and we had four breathing apparatus wearers go in.

"There was quite a lot of damage in the kitchen."
