A Skipton woman said she had learnt her lesson after being caught driving more than 30mph over the speed limit in her VW Polo.
Nicola Ann Crossley, of Sidgwick Court, pleaded guilty at Skipton Magistrates Court yesterday, to driving at 93mph on the A59 on March 26.
The limit on the Harrogate to Skipton road is 60mph.
A tearful Crossley, 35, told magistrates that she had no excuse for the speed she was travelling.
"I have learnt my lesson and my driving has totally changed in the last two months," she said.
In sentencing, magistrates said they had taken the speed Crossley was driving very seriously.
She was given six penalty points and ordered to pay a £200 fine. She was also ordered to pay £45 costs and £15 victims surcharge.
