A senior fire officer has issued a stark warning to businesses after an arson attack today.
Rubbish was set alight behind a row of shops, including a Tesco, a pharmacist and fast food outlets in Haworth Road, Bradford.
The Tesco store had to be evacuated as firefighters from Shipley and Fairweather Green attended.
Watch manager for Shipley Steve Farley said firefighters had been called to the site on a number of occasions.
He said: "It is only a matter of time before something more serious happens. If the businesses keep their own areas tidy, there would be no rubbish to set on fire."
