Three 17-year-olds will be cycling more than 830 miles to help raise money for a local health project.
Adam Cosheril, Paul Lucas and Jonny Oates will be cycling from John O'Groats to Lands End in July and August to raise money for the Born in Bradford (BiB) project.
The project is tracking the health of 10,000 babies born in Bradford to find out why some children suffer ill health and others don't.
The three A-level students from Dixon's City Academy are beginning a gruelling training programme this week to get in shape for their adventure, which starts on July 21 and ends on August 4.
Adam said: "I'm really looking forward to getting stuck into this cycle."
Dr Pauline Raynor, programme manager at Born in Bradford, said: "Everyone is really grateful for Adam, Paul and Jonny choosing to support us. The project will really benefit from the money raised."
