A rainbow flag is flying over Bradford City Hall today to acknowledge the International Day of Action Against Homophobia.
The flag was a result of work between Bradford Council and the Equity Partnership, a charity which represents Bradford's lesbian, gay and bisexual communities.
Equity Partnership chairman Ruth Middleton said: "It's great that the rainbow flag flew once again over Bradford City Hall as part of the global acknowledgement of the International Day of Action Against Homophobia."
The partnership is a member of the Bradford Hate Crime Alliance and acts as a reporting centre for hate crimes.
The charity is also looking for finance to extend some of the pilot work it has done with young people to combat homophobic bullying in schools.
