An allotment group is applying for money from Horsforth Council to improve security after a theft from a shed.
An application from the Willow Green Allotment Association is due to be heard by members of the town council's community committee on Wednesday night.
The association is asking for £300 to improve its site security after a break-in and the theft of equipment. The group wants to replace a storage shed's wooden door with a steel door.
Other grant applications include one from the Friends of Hall Park, bidding for £600 for four band concerts during the summer.
The Horsforth Live at Home Scheme is applying for a grant of £300 to pay for a photocopier and the Horsforth Women's Institute is asking for £300 to help towards the costs of the hire of their meeting room.
