Two men face inevitable prison sentences after they admitted involvement in a five-month conspiracy to burgle homes.
Father-of-one Craig Walker, 35, and co-accused Kevin Walsh, 37, had been due to stand trial at Bradford Crown Court today on a conspiracy charge alleging involvement in a total of 18 break-ins.
However, Walker, of Denfield Gardens, Halifax, and Walsh, who is already serving a jail term for burglary, both entered guilty pleas to the conspiracy allegation before a jury was sworn in.
The charge covers a period between September, 2006, and January, 2007.
Both men pleaded guilty on a basis that their precise roles in the conspiracy were not disclosed during the hearing.
Their case was adjourned until June 6 and Walker, who is a single parent with a young daughter, was granted bail pending the sentence hearing.
Walsh, of no fixed abode, was taken back into custody.
