Youngsters will be able to enjoy arts and crafts activities at Otley Courthouse during the May half term holidays.
A series of workshops kicks off on Tuesday, May 27, from 10.30am to 12.30pm when workshop leader Sandra Flitcroft, will be showing children how to make collages from pictures of fruit and vegetables, inspired by the work of Italian artist Arcimboldi.
A clay workshop for youngsters to make ornaments will be held on Wednesday, May 28, and the following day children can make purses or holders for mobile phones, MP3 players or glasses. Both sessions start at 1.30pm and run until 3.30pm.
The week finishes with Felt Making Fun from 1.30pm to 3.30pm on Friday, May 30, when children can create felt using wool, water and soap.
Workshop places, which cost £4 per child per session should be booked in advance by calling (01943) 467466 or e-mailing otleycourthouse@tiscali.co.uk. Alternatively, parents can book in person at Otley Courthouse, Courthouse Street, Otley, LS21 3AN. The Box Office is open from 10am and 4pm Tuesday to Saturday.
Children aged between five and seven need an adult with them but eight to 12-year-olds can come unaccompanied.
