Appeal for witnesses to collision

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision between a car and an 86-year-old woman in Queensbury yesterday morning.

The incident occurred at 9.35am in Scarlet Heights.

A green Land Rover was moving away from a parked position and collided with the woman, who had stepped out from between two parked vehicles.

The pedestrian, from Bradford, was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary with injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.

Witnesses to the collision who have not already spoken to police are asked to contact PC 3088 Pickles on (01274) 376646.
