An investigation is under way after the death of a Bradford man who became trapped in machinery at a printing firm last night.
Police and firefighters were called to reports of an industrial accident at the Bezier group in Wakefield at about 9.20pm.
A police spokesman said a 49-year-old Bradford man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Inquiries were continuing today and the Health and Safety Executive has been informed, as has the coroner.
The Bezier group is a retail marketing agency and has two sites in Wakefield.
The firm employs more than 1,000 people across the UK and has contracts with ASDA, Argos, Boots, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Imperial Tobacco, Homebase, and KFC.
A spokesman for the company said: "We express great sorrow at the loss of our colleague and we are currently working with the authorities to establish the cause of the incident."
The HSE said: "We are aware of the incident and we are looking into it."
