Salts Tennis Club are holding their second open day on Sunday from 1pm to 5pm and hope that the weather will be kinder than for their first.
"We had everything from sunshine, rain, wind, and even hail and snow, but it did not stop a number of children from playing tennis and enjoying themselves," said club chairman Jim Dyer.
"A couple of parents took to one of the courts in order to keep warm!"
Salts' club coach Gul Rashid said: "Free coaching will be available from LTA-qualified coaches, and kids should bring their mums and dads with them and have a go."
Mini tennis coaching will be available for juniors aged from five to 15 throughout the day, with adult beginner coaching and beat the ball machine' events also being organised, meaning there is something for the whole family.
