Villages get a clean-up

Anti-litter blitzes will be carried out in Denholme, Culling-worth, Wilsden and Crossflatts over the next year.
The community clean-ups have been approved by Shipley Area Committee, using Bradford Council cash.
Villagers will work with cleansing staff to clean up the streets and remove residents' unwanted bulky items.
The planned clean-ups have been requested by parish councils and Crossflatts Village Society.
There will be litter-picks and street sweeping in Wilsden and Cullingworth, and tackling dog fouling and litter in Crossflatts. The Denholme clean-up will involve removing litter following the local gala.
