Fingers crossed I'll be fit for Cas

3:03pm Friday 28th March 2008

It can be the week actually after the busy Easter period when you really feel the fatigue as a player.

You get through the second game of the holiday weekend on adrenaline but it is probably this fixture - not Easter itself - that the tiredness can really start kicking in.

We're not thinking about that at Bradford though because, as a squad, we feel we haven't really got out of second gear all season let alone these last two matches.

We can't say we've had tough this, tough that or tough the other but we think we've got plenty more to offer.

It's Cas we're up against and it's great to see them back in Super League where they belong. They're a good club with great fans who I'm sure will be out in force at Odsal on Sunday.

Their performances aren't as bad as their results suggest and I'm sure soon they'll definitely be having a say on plenty in Super League.

There's every possibility I'll be back playing Sunday.

I'll have a late fitness test but fingers crossed I'll be right.

Hopefully all these niggles are behind me now and I can kick on as well as the whole squad.

It looks like someone's been running around Bradford acting as a Joe Vagana impostor.

Some of the lads were down at China Thai having lunch this week. It turns out some guy had been down there too splashing out on a big meal, taking the whole family upstairs and going to town.

When this person came to pay he got out a Bulls discount card but the waiter realised the face didn't match and said: "This isn't you, it's Joe Vagana's."

Apparently, the impostor in question was none other than our own football manager, Stuart Duffy.

He claimed that because he's the one who sorts the club's discount cards he should get in on the free feeds too.

Just get your hand in those deep pockets Duff!
