A runner from a Silsden-based company is getting set to take on the London Marathon for charity.
Hannah Peacock, 29 - who works for Habasit Rossi, a conveyor belting manufacturer - said that running the 26-mile event on April 13 would be a big challenge.
Hannah obtained a place in the over-subscribed race through her running club. She still wants to raise at least £500 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The human resources advisor, who is running the race for the second time, said: "As a keen runner I am looking forward to completing the marathon - it is an excellent personal challenge and the fact that I am able to help raise money for a charity at the same time makes the experience extremely satisfying."
Habasit Rossi has offered to sponsor Miss Peacock in the race and the company is raising extra cash by holding a sweepstake on the time in which she will manage to complete the route.
Hannah added:"I really just want to finish - I might manage five hours, I think that's realistic."
