Stage is set for stately Kimberley show!

Bradford's pop princess Kimberley Walsh and her Girls Aloud bandmates have announced a one-off open air gig in West Yorkshire.

The top UK girl band will be performing an outdoor concert at Harewood House in August.

Promoters are expecting a mad-dash for tickets when they go on sale next Monday, February 18, at 9am.

The first to get on the booking line will be able to get a limited number of early-bird tickets for £26.

The Girls are still enjoying the successful release of their smash-hit album Tangled Up, with its chart-topping tracks Call The Shots and Sexy No No No.

And now they are about to launch their 17th single release Can't Speak French which is out on Monday, March 17, and has a B side Hoxton Heroes causing a stir in the musical world because it takes a cheeky swipe at the cool Indie set.

Girls Aloud promoter Andrew Wyke said: "It's fantastic that Girls Aloud will be performing at Harewood. It gives fans who can't get to the arena shows the perfect opportunity to see Girls Aloud live in concert this summer."

The Girls' UK arena tour which starts in May has already sold out.

Mr Wyke added: "The combination of Girls Aloud and stunning Harewood House will be really special."

Girls Aloud record sales topped 4.2 million in the UK alone by the end of October last year.

They are also Smash Hits poll winners, have won a TMF Award and have been nominated for two BRIT Awards.

Songbird Kimberley, who is from Allerton, is hoping 2008 will be even better than last year.

On the band's website, she told fans: "It's just incredible what's been going on but we couldn't have done it without your help."
