A couple woke to a house blaze in the early hours of today, New Year's Day.
A kitchen fire broke out at Daisy Hill, Cragg Wood Drive, Rawdon, at around 4.20am and the owners raised the alarm.
Firefighters from Rawdon and Idle attended for around 40 minutes.
The fire was contained to the kitchen and the cause is being investigated.
