A series of explosive experiments on board a bus kept the attention of Bradford school pupils as part of a new science initiative.
The Science Bus Experience had its first outing to St Columba's Primary School in Tong Street, Dudley Hill, and Bradford Bulls player Semi Tadulala officially opened the Great Earth Show.
Kieran Burns, who trained as a scientist at university works for HM Customs in Shipley, set up the science bus to build on the enthusiasm children have for science and discovery.
He said: "I believe science should be visual, fun and exciting."
