An internet sales company is celebrating after generating more than £1.7 million in sales for its clients in less than five months.
Pricebeater.com, based in Little Germany, Bradford, provides qualified sales information to the double glazing industry.
The company allows customers to compare prices when looking to buy doors, windows and conservatories It uses a nationwide network of double-glazing companies and provides customers with three quotes from three local reputable suppliers so the customer benefits by having three companies vying for their business.
Since its launch earlier this year it has helped generate £1.7 million worth of business for these companies and is now eyeing up expansion into differing areas.
Pricebeater.com is the brainchild of young Bradford businessman Nasir Qureshi, who runs a team of four from his firm's offices on Chapel Street.
Mr Qureshi said: "Each customer gets given three quotes so all the businesses know they will be up against two other companies so do all that they can do on price."
He said the firm liked to work with smaller firms but also had dealings with the larger window companies, including Bradford-based Safestyle.
Allan Foster, communications manager at Pricebeater.com, said: "Our customers have benefited tremendously and we have noticed a greater demand for our services, which we put down to the current climate of people being more cautious when it comes to their finances, "We have found that some customers have saved over 50 per cent off the list price and also have the opportunity to pick the mind' of the companies to ensure that they get the best solution for their needs.
"And all this is done for free, simply by filling in our online form.
"I believe that the days have gone when people would take up the first offer they receive. People now expect greater variety and choice when making a purchase. And it is our aim to capitalise on this.
"We are delighted with the results so far and are excited at the prospect of further growth as more and more customers begin to use our services."
