A catering manager at a Bradford secondary school, who took part in the first European Union Deliberative Poll, will be featured on BBC's Newsnight, tonight.
Isobel Evans, 45, joined people in the 27 EU countries in Brussels last weekend to take part in the event called Tomorrow's Europe.
She said: "Before I went I didn't think I had a lot to say about Europe, but while I was there I spoke loads. Now, I really want to get involved in politics.
"Then they started filming me for Newsnight. Everywhere I turned there was a camera behind me. It was a really surreal experience."
Mrs Evans, of West Scholes, near Queensbury, who works at Parkside School in Cullingworth, joined other randomly chosen members of the public from across the continent to take part in EU related debates.
