A NATIONAL financial planning business with a regional hub in Shipley has been rebranded and will now be known as Quilter Private Client Advisers.

The rebrand from Old Mutual Wealth Private Client Advisers follows the renaming of its parent company to Quilter plc. Quilter plc separated from Old Mutual plc in June this year and listed on the London and Johannesburg stock exchanges.

The Shipley office, located at Merchants Quay in Ashley Lane, serves customers across Yorkshire, is led by Yorkshire Chairman, David Cubitt and currently employs 21 people from the local area including six financial planners.

Mr Cubitt, chairman for Yorkshire at Quilter Private Client Advisers, said: “The Yorkshire region has been the centre of a lot of growth for our national business. Over the past 12 months we have made several important acquisitions, which are looked after by our team of seven financial planners.

“It is a real pleasure today to able to announce to this region that we have now rebranded to Quilter Private Client Advisers. We look forward to expanding in the region under our new name, while continuing to give our customers high quality face to face financial advice.”

Quilter Private Client Advisers was created in 2015 and has established a national presence through a series of acquisitions and organic recruitment growth, and now has six regional hubs across the country.

Across these six regions, the company is responsible for advising over 5,600 households.

Quilter Private Client Advisers was established to serve affluent and high net worth individuals and their families, and over a third (38%) of its clients have in excess of £1m in personal wealth with the national financial advisory business.

Quilter plc oversees £116.5 billion in customer investments, as at June 30 this year.

It has an adviser and customer offering spanning financial advice; investment platforms; multi-asset investment solutions and discretionary fund management.

The business is comprised of two segments: Wealth Platforms and Advice and Wealth Management. Wealth Platforms includes the Old Mutual Wealth UK Platform; Old Mutual International, including AAM Advisory in Singapore; and the Old Mutual Wealth Heritage life assurance business. Advice and Wealth Management encompasses the financial planning network, Intrinsic; Quilter Private Client Advisers; discretionary fund management business, Quilter Cheviot; and Quilter Investors.
