A TESTIMONIAL football match has netted more than £935 for a hospice.
The game was staged to mark the retirement of two long-serving players.
Andy Holden (left) and Michael Rhodes (right) have both hung up their boots after making well over 1,000 appearances between them, for both Steeton and Silsden AFC.
For the testimonial, they each chose a team of players they had featured alongside over the years.
Everyone taking part contributed £10. The funds – together with other donations, plus the proceeds of raffles and games held afterwards at the Goats Head pub in Steeton – were given to Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice Manorlands.
Event organiser, Kacey Vickers (centre), joined the retiring duo to present a cheque.
She thanked everyone who gave their support.
