LITTLE Germany is alive with music this weekend as the Shuttle Shuffle Festival rocks the historic part of Bradford.

It runs today and tomorrow at Sorm (School of Rock and Media) Studios and features both new and established acts.

The theme is 'inclusion' and the line-up also includes performers with learning disabilities.

Festival-goers are asked to take food donations for Bradford Metropolitan Food Bank, supported by the Telegraph & Argus this summer. Funds raised will go to the White Ribbon Campaign, tackling violence against women.

There's three stages, music workshops, samba lessons, craft and food stalls, plus a children's area.

It's the first time the festival has been to Little Germany.

Festival director Tim Wilson said: "It's brilliant, it's going really well.

"It's really inclusive - there's a really good atmosphere."

He said the move to Little Germany was a positive for the festival and praised the community in the area for getting involved.

The festival also includes the Shuttle Art Gallery, displaying work by Bradford photographer Martin Singleton which looks at the grassroots music scene, while the Shuttle Cinema highlights themes of inclusion and equality.

There is also an open mic and jamming space.
