A MAN has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car this morning.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said it happened at around 6.15am at the junction of Cote Farm Lane, Thackley, and Leeds Road.
The man, in his 50s, has been taken to Leeds General Infirmary's major trauma centre with head injuries. The car involved is thought to be a blue Vauxhall Corsa.
The road was closed in both directions from Glenholme to Overdale Drive, but reopened before 10am.
