A 15-year-old boy has been charged with a terror offence.

The teenager, from Bradford, is accused of possessing a document or record likely to be useful to a person preparing or committing an act of terrorism, West Yorkshire Police said.

He was arrested by the Counter Terrorism Policing North East team on August 10.

The teenager has also been charged with one offence under Section 4 of the Explosives Act, making or possession of explosive under suspicious circumstances.

He is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court on Friday.
