STUDENT Elinor Wolstenholme certainly hit the right note in her exams.
The bright young 18-year-old is off to Cambridge University to read music after scoring four straight As in her exams.
The former Canon Slade pupil achieved an A* in Latin, and As in music, maths and chemistry.
She said: "I'm so excited to get these results.
"I worked hard, A-levels are so hard, you have to put a lot of effort in and do a lot of independent study."
Elinor, who will be attending Newnham College, added: "I did have to give a few things up such as playing with the orchestra towards the very end of my course but I did still play the piano for a choir. It is was still important to do other things.
"I applied for Cambridge University because of the advice I was given by school and it is such a massive opportunity."
Fellow student Amber Cameron, also 18, is off to Oxford University after achieving two A* and an A to read psychology at Worcester College.
She said: "I am so happy and relieved to have my results. I worked hard and really and after getting my GCSE results I wanted to go to Oxford University."
