THOUSANDS of visitors from far and wide have been making their way to Kettlewell for the village's annual scarecrow festival, which draws to an end this weekend.
This year, the festival has been celebrating a range of anniversaries - 70 years since the birth of the National Health Service, a hundred years of the Royal Air Force and a hundred years since the end of World War One.
'Best in show' judged by Rylstone Calendar girls, Angela Baker, Tricia Stewart and Christine Clancy, was the group marking the hundredth anniversary of the end of the Great War, on display in St Mary's Church.
The festival, which raises money for the village's school, hall and church, ends on Sunday.
