AN exhibition of art inspired by the Calais “jungle” will be on display in City Park on Saturday.
The Peace Museum, based in the city centre, is currently displaying Paper People - a project that depicts the experience of working as an independent artist in the Jungle, home to hundreds of refugees, from October 2015 to September 2016.
The exhibition includes life sized cut outs depicting some of the children who called the camp their home until it was demolished.
The artist behind the project is Suzanne Partridge, and on Saturday many of the cut outs will be hung in City Park.
They will be on display between 11am and 3pm.
The exhibition will be on display at the Piece Hall Yard museum until August 31.
