BRADFORD College’s teacher training programme has improved over the last 12 months, a new report from Ofsted has revealed.

The College, pictured, runs an initial teacher education partnership, which has been rated ‘Good’ following a recent inspection.

This is a better result than last year, when it was told it required improvement.

In the report, Ofsted said leaders have “rightly prioritised improvements” and trainees now benefit from “clear, precise and focused feedback”.

It found trainees’ oral and written English has improved and have become “good role models” for pupils.

Partner schools were also praised, with “trainees benefitting form teaching in a range of schools”.

To become Outstanding, the college was told to improve the quality of teaching further.
