AN elderly woman has died following a crash this morning.
Emergency services were called to Cooper Bridge Road, Mirfield, just before 9am, where there had been a crash involving an Audi S5 and a purple Peugeot.
A 78-year-old woman who was taken to hospital with serious injuries has now died.
A man in his 60s was also taken to hospital. A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said another man was arrested for drink driving in connection with the incident.
Road closures were in place around the scene, however roads have now reopened and traffic is easing.
