Police have arrested 13 people as part of an investigation into two shootings in Holme Wood.

The shootings happened in the early hours of Monday morning at an address on Gillingham Green and Dulverton Grove.

Detectives now believe the incidents to be linked.

A 16-year-old male and a 24-year-old female were arrested earlier today on suspicion of attempt murder and remain in custody at this time.

A 17-year-old male and a 20-year-old male were arrested yesterday but have since been released under investigation.

The man injured in the shooting on Dulverton Grove is still in hospital following treatment. 

The other man who was shot on Gillingham Green has since been discharged.

A total of nine other people have been arrested for assisting an offender.

The investigation is being led by West Yorkshire Police’s Homicide and Major Enquiries Team.
