A NURSERY enjoyed a week of activities to mark its milestone 25th anniversary.
Staff and children at Kiddi-creche, which has sites at Bradford Road, Cottingley Bridge and Cottingley New Road, Cottingley, took part in a week themed around the books of popular children's author Julia Donaldson.
Highlights included fantastic fancy dress - which both little ones and staff got involved with - and a Gruffalo hunt.
The celebration also doubled as a fundraising event for the heart unit in Leeds, which has been supporting a little boy at the nursery and his family.
Speaking about the 25th anniversary, owner Marie Lister said: "It has gone really quick.
"It's 25 great years.
"We've had wonderful staff, some amazing families and wonderful children."
She said some people who attended the nursery as children are now coming back with their own children.
"We are a very close unit," she said.
