A WOMAN had to be rescued by firefighters after getting stuck in a toddler's swing.
Firefighters from Fairweather Green were called to Haworth Road Recreation Ground at around 9.15pm yesterday.
Watch Commander Darren Armstrong said the woman, in her 20s, was perched on the swing and slipped in.
She was with her partner and friend who raised the alarm.
Firefighters had to dismantle the swing from the frame, lay it on the floor and push the woman's legs and body through to free her.
She was trapped for around 30 minutes.
Watch Commander Armstrong said: "She was really upset and distressed, but she was ok."
