PLANS for the second phase of an industrial development have been submitted to Bradford Council.
Earlier this year, Oakwell Securities was granted planning permission to build four starter units on land near the M606.
Now the group has submitted plans for a second phase of that development, a further three industrial or warehouse units.
Their planning application says the units will be for start up businesses, and help “satisfy the demand” for such units in the Bradford District.
The 0.8 acre site, Coop Place, near the Toby Carvery on Rooley Lane, had been earmarked for an 84-bed hotel over a decade ago, but those plans never came to fruition.
A recent report by Bradford Council said there was an “acute shortage of available employment land” in the district.
A decision on the application is expected early next month.
