PUPILS from Fagley have triumphed at an inter-schools cycling event in held at Richard Dunn Sports Centre in Odsal.
Fagley Primary School beat four other schools to win the competition, organised by exercise charity Sustrans.
Children took part in individual time trial, sprint, relay, team time trial, handicapped and endurance races to be crowned the top school.
The event was supported by East Bradford Cycling Club, which loaned bikes and ran training sessions.
Chris Parfitt, headteacher at Fagley, said: “With the support of Sustrans we have really focused on developing and improving cycle skills for our children.
“In September we will have our very own cycle track in our school grounds. It’s all very exciting. Future Olympian cyclists in the making - how proud we’d be at Fagley Primary School to achieve that.”
