PLANS to extend a Great Horton house to create 14 new flats have been approved.
Bradford Council’s Regulatory and Appeals Committee made the decision, for land at 100 Hollingwood Lane, during a mammoth eight-hour meeting on Thursday.
C Musson submitted the application for supported living flats, and planning officers said: “The proposal will provide a much needed care facility within Bradford and is located in a very sustainable location giving easy access to existing and proposed developments including parks and retail facilities.”
The site is near the under construction development of an Aldi supermarket, a Home Bargains, Heron Foods, Greggs, a drive-through Starbucks café, and a Marstons family pub at the nearby former Scott Works.
