A pedestrian was involved in a collision with a car on Hall Ings, Bradford city centre this afternoon.

Police were called to the collision near the Jacobs Well roundabout at around 3.28pm.

Witnesses say they saw a white male being taken into an ambulance.

A man was injured and was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with what are believed to be non life threatening injuries, police confirmed.

The car, a Seat Ibiza, was seen parked in the middle of the road with its hazard lights on.

The car had a shattered windscreen.

A couple of people remained with the Seat Ibiza and one man was talking to police.

Two responders and one ambulance remained on site.

Police cordoned off the area and the road was closed to traffic, but First Bradford reported at around 5.50pm that Hall Ings had reopened.
