THERE will be a Pudsey derby in the semi-finals of the Priestley Shield after both clubs won their fourth-round ties.

St Lawrence's reward for their 66-run victory over Cleckheaton is home advantage for the tie which will be played on August 5.

Congs overcame Scholes by three wickets to move into the last four to set up the clash with their neighbours which will decide who will appear in the final at Hartshead Moor on September 2.

The second semi-final sees last season's beaten finalists Bowling Old Lane host Baildon.

Old Lane defeated Wrenthorpe by eight runs while Baildon – conquerors of holders Woodlands in the previous round – beat Second Teams Premier Division Hanging Heaton by four wickets.

One of the best individual performances of the round came from St Lawrence's young all-rounder Joshua Dracup.

He made 92 not out to lead a recover from 5-2 and followed up by taking 4-31 as Cleckheaton were bowled out for 175.

Dracup was joined in a third-wicket stand of 139 by Harry Cullingford as St Lawrence made 241-5. Craig Blackburn (51) and Elliott Hallas (48) top scored for Cleckheaton.

Pudsey Congs were indebted to their seventh-wicket pair of Gopal Makwana (57no) and Adam Patrick (50) as they recovered from 59-6 to pass the Scholes score of 183. Makwana and Patrick added 107 runs.

Scholes had scored rapidly when they batted first and looked set for a much bigger total when skipper Adam Wood (51) and Hassan Hussain (38) were adding 102 for the third wicket.

Despite their rivals scoring at six an over, Congs stuck to their task with Liam Stanhope (5-34) and Ross Kettlewell (3-38) striking at regular intervals.

Hanging Heaton became the latest victim of giant killers Baildon.

Daniel Hunt (3-24) and Daniel Metcalfe (2-12) helped bowl out Hanging Heaton for 154.

Baildon eased home with four wickets in hand as Ross Todd scored 38 and Darren Wilson (32).

Bowling Old Lane are in sight of a second-successive final appearance after a nail-biting victory over Wrenthorpe that was secured with a run out with eight balls to spare.

Shahid Alishan (45) and Adam Zahid (32) helped Old Lane to made 224 despite the efforts of Kabir Bashir (4-47).

Wrenthorpe made a bold bid to chase the target. Joe Wigglesworth (70) and Richard Smith (43) led the way, but Old Lane held their nerve to take victory.
