A WEEK long celebration of cycling begins in Bradford tomorrow.
The Bradford Cycling Festival, run by the Capital of Cycling, will feature bike rides, workshops and even a “pedal powered” cinema.
Round the world cyclists Tim and Laura Moss, who quit their jobs to cycle 13,000 miles around the world will give a talk on Wednesday evening.
Other highlights include a “paint with bikes” session on Thursday, a traffic free cycle ride at Bradford Bulls Stadium and a screening of the film Time Trial at the National Science and Media Museum.
The festival will team with the Drunken Film Festival, also running next week, for a screening of short films on Saturday that will be powered by the audience cycling. It will take place in the Capital of Cycling HQ on Hall Ings at 12.30pm.
