A MAN caught by police with wraps of cocaine hidden down his trousers has been spared jail.
Bradford Crown Court heard that when Mohammed Miah, 30, was stopped by police on Bingley Road, Saltaire, on September 16 last year, he was trying to conceal something by “continually pushing down on his groin area”.
He reportedly said “I’ve got some balls down by my balls”, before officers found Kinder egg boxes containing six wraps of cocaine. A later search of Miah’s home in Tivoli Place, Bradford, found packages containing small amounts of heroin and cannabis.
He pleaded guilty to possession of Class A drugs with an intent to supply, but said he was only a “social” dealer who would give the drugs to friends. He was jailed for 17 months, suspended for two years, and ordered to complete 25 rehabilitation days and 200 hours’ unpaid work.
