Fire breaks out in woodland area
FIRE crews were called to a blaze in Cottingley Woods last night.
The fire was said to have started in the deep-seated undergrowth in an area where children were thought to have been playing.
Two fire engines went to tackle the fire at 7pm, which occurred in a location off Beckfield Road, Bingley.
A spokesman for the West Yorkshire Fire Service said an area of woodland was on fire, and that the crews had spent a couple of hours there.
