DENHOLME Gala will be held in the town’s Foster Park next Saturday.
The event will be in the park from 1.40pm to 5pm on July 7, though the parade begins at 1pm in Ogden Lane.
Among the attractions will be a mechanical rodeo bull, an Ultimate Wipeout inflatable assault course, a display of classic cars and crazy golf.
There will also be a dog show, children’s games and a tea tent run by the Scouts.
Children will have a chance to compete in Bug Hotel and Best Fairy Garden competitions.
Councillor Steve Nunn, chairman of Denholme Town Council, will crown gala queen Armiani Ackroyd, who will be joined by her attendants Shawnna Mangoma and Lola Hutchinson.
