WOLVES winger Sherwin Seedorf has joined City on a six-month loan.

The 20-year-old Dutchman, who is distantly related to Netherlands legend Clarence, has signed a deal from the newly-promoted Premier League club until January.

Seedorf is yet to play senior football but made 17 appearances for Wolves under-23s last season and scored three goals.

City were alerted to the pacy winger through youth academy coach Connor Sellars, whose dad Scott is the head of academy player development at Molineux.

Seedorf spent seven years in the youth ranks with Feyenoord before Wolves spotted him playing for the Nike Academy.

A natural left winger, but comfortable on either foot, he cannot wait to get going.

Seedorf said: “The coaches told me they want to play in a very attacking way and I like to do that. I’m a very direct player.

“Wolves were very happy to let me go on loan and I think it’s the right time, for sure. Of course, there is big pressure but see how I get on playing in front of a lot of people.”
