TWO community projects in Bradford have been shortlisted for a national scheme that could bag them a share of £250,000 worth of building materials.
ACAP, which helps give young people access to education, and the Bradford Deaf Community Association (BDCA), which hosts British Sign Language courses and supports homeless people and asylum seekers, need votes from the public in order to go forward in the competition.
The Jewson Building Better Communities prize fund will be allocated based on recommendations from an industry judging panel as well as the public vote which ends tomorrow, June 20th.
If ACAP win a share it hopes to fix a hole in the roof of its building and the BDCA likewise want to carry out repairs on its building.
Amazing Spaces frontman, George Clarke (above), will be part of the initiative.
