IMAGES have been released of two women detectives would like to speak to in connection with a robbery.

The incident happened on February 5 this year when the victim, a 22-year-old woman, was walking from Crossflatts train station along Keighley Road at around 6pm.

As she walked along the road, she noticed four suspects walking towards her.

The 22-year-old walked past the suspects and one of the female suspects grabbed her handbag and tried to pull it off her. She pulled some headphones out of her ears and shouted at the suspects to get off.

The suspects then assaulted the woman by punching and kicking her and then forcing her up against a wall, causing her to stumble to the floor.

Her iPhone dropped from her pocket and an Asian male, who was part of the group, picked it up before all four suspects fled towards the Bingley direction.

DC Suzanna Jones of Bradford CID said: “We are releasing these two images in the hope that members of the public will recognise either of these people.

“I would urge anyone who has any information, or witnesses this incident to come forward and speak to the police.”

West Yorkshire Police said the first suspect was a white female, aged 17 or 18 years old, 5ft 4, wearing skinny jeans and hooped earrings.

The second suspect is described as a white female, aged 17 or 18, 5ft 6 with a slim build.

The group included a third female suspect and an Asian male.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Bradford CID via 101 quoting crime reference number 13180060485.
