BRITISH Car Auctions Brighouse is holding a week of celebration later this month to mark 45 years of service in the motor industry.

The centre, in Armytage Road, opened in 1973 and has sold hundreds of thousands of vehicles in that time.

More than 2,000 vehicles will be in the bidding over one week, starting Monday, June 25, with daily sales, and sellers including Bradford's JCT600, Bristol Street Motors and more.

Robin Wilde, BCA regional operations director, said: “We are looking forward to this special week of sales celebrating BCA Brighouse’s long association with the motor trade.

"We have set the bar high with sales staged every day and a target of more than 2,000 cars to be offered and we are sure we will get a lot of support from our buyers over the week.

"We are delighted to have reached this notable business landmark at BCA Brighouse, and are already looking forward to the 50th anniversary in 2023!”
