Last year's performance of Midsummer Night's Dream in Robert's Park
A SERIES of free summer Shakespeare performances will begin this weekend, and this year the programme will be bigger than ever.
Amateur dramatics group Shakespeare in the Park - Saltaire will begin its fourth season on Saturday with a performance of classic comedy As You Like It at Robert’s Park.
As well as a series of performances in the Saltaire park, this year will also see the company branching out to perform in Central Park in Haworth on June 23 and Cliffe Castle in Keighley on June 24.
After Saturday there will be performances in Robert’s Park on June 17 and 21 and July 7 and 8. Performances take place at 2pm and 7pm (except June 21 when it will just be at 7pm).
