STAFF from the Bingley branch of Skipton Building Society are teaming up with colleagues from across the region to take part in the Bradford Dragon Boat Race, held in Saltaire's Roberts Park.
Racing under the name Skipton Salamanders, Skipton has chosen the Alzheimer’s Society as its charity partner and hundreds of society colleagues have already become Dementia Friends, including everyone who works at Bingley branch.
Dominic Brown, customer relationship consultant at the branch, in Main Street, said: "As team captain I am really pleased that we have been able to build a team of 20 colleagues from varying roles across the society. This is a real testament to the engagement of our colleagues raising money for such a meaningful charity."
The festival is being held from June 22 to 24 with the Bingley team taking part on the Sunday in the Multi Charity Championship.
