SUPERMARKET staff are organising a number of events to celebrate the 70th birthday of the NHS.
Asda in Cemetery Road, Bradford, is getting involved with Bradford Hospitals' Charity to raise money for the charity with a number of activities in store.
They will include wrapping presents for Father's Day on Friday and Saturday for a £1 donation.
On Friday, June 29 and Saturday, June 30, staff will be dressed as superheroes, doctors and nurses, and will have a bucket to raise money.
Also on June 30, workers will set up a table with tombola and sell NHS merchandise.
The NHS turns 70 on July 5 this year, giving Bradford residents the chance to appreciate the vital role the service plays.
