CARERS across Bradford and Craven are being asked to share their experiences to inform how future services are developed.

The joint project by NHS Bradford District and Craven CCGs and Bradford Council hopes to gather feedback so that the right support can be put in place.

The project involves work with local carers’ groups and voluntary organisations, and its team will be visiting local meetings to talk to people face-to-face about their thoughts and priorities.

Head of engagement at the CCGs, Victoria Simmons, said: “There are over 50,000 carers across Bradford and Craven contributing care worth an estimated £900 million. Caring can be a rewarding and positive experience, and we want to understand what helps carers to keep going.”

The survey is open until July 23, and can be accessed on both the CCGs’ and Council websites.
