A FORMER church building in Queensbury could be demolished to make way for a new housing development.
A planning application has been lodged with Bradford Council to demolish the Church of the Nazarene building on Hillcrest Road (pictured) and build ten semi-detached houses.
The application says: "The existing building on site is a small concrete structure with a metal roof, which has previously functioned as a gathering space for The Church of The Nazarene.
"It is now in a state of disrepair and is no longer fit for purpose.
"The site currently has no use and is a space in a dense residential neighbourhood. It will benefit from the proposed development which will provide new and high quality family homes."
A consultation comment says the development may cause "a few concerns" over primary school places. Image: Google Streetview
